As we can accept your registration and make a legally enforceable agreement without further reference to you, you must read these terms and conditions to make sure that they contain all that you want and nothing that you are not happy with.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Revalidate app (“the App”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using the App.
2. Basic Rules for the App
a. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process.
b. The App is intended for use by healthcare practitioners for the purpose of tracking and managing their revalidation process.
c. You are not obligated or contracted to use the App, and you may deactivate the app at any time.
d. You agree not to engage in any unauthorized use of the App, including but not limited to attempting to access data that does not belong to you.
e. The App is only available on Android and iOS mobile platforms.
3. Confidentiality and User Responsibility
a. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and ensuring their security.
b. The questions and materials used in the App are sourced from the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and other government bodies for guidance purposes. Users are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from these materials.
c. Users acknowledge that the speed and functionality of the App are dependent on internet provider and WiFi connection. Service levels may vary accordingly.
d. Storage of data within the App is the user’s responsibility. Revalidate takes reasonable measures to protect the security and privacy of user data, but users should be diligent in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their recorded information.
e. Users are responsible for managing their login passwords and securing their device’s locking screens.
4. Recording Other People’s Personal Data
a. Users are not advised or permitted to record other people’s personal data, such as names or email addresses, within the App.
b. Revalidate is not responsible for any unauthorized recording or storage of third-party personal data by users.
c. Users are urged to respect the privacy and data protection rights of others and refrain from entering or storing unauthorized personal information within the App.
5. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
a. The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, expressed or implied.
b. Revalidate disclaims all liability for any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the information provided by the App.
c. In no event shall Revalidate be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the App.
d. Revalidate is not responsible for any disruptions, errors, or delays in the operation of the App.
6. Data Security and Privacy
a. Revalidate takes reasonable measures to protect the security and privacy of your data. However, we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted through the App.
b. You acknowledge and agree that Revalidate may collect and use certain information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.
7. App not Responsible for Revalidation Process and Renewal
a. The App is a tool designed to assist healthcare practitioners in tracking and managing their revalidation process. It is not a substitute for professional judgment, and Revalidate is not responsible for the success or failure of your revalidation process and renewal.
b. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that all required documentation, worked hours, and relevant metrics are accurately recorded and submitted for revalidation.
8. Modifications to Terms
Revalidate reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of the App after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
9. Company’s Right to Audit Users
a. Revalidate reserves the right to audit user accounts to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions.
b. The audit may include a review of user data, usage patterns, and adherence to guidelines set forth by Revalidate.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
11. User Conduct and Responsibilities
a. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the App.
b. Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information they input into the App.
12. Termination of Access
Revalidate reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the App without notice if it believes, in its sole discretion, that a user has violated these terms or engaged in fraudulent or illegal activities.
13. Use of Questions from NMC and Other Government Bodies
a. Revalidate utilizes questions and materials from authoritative sources such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and other government bodies related to healthcare revalidation.
b. The questions provided in the App are for guidance purposes only and are not intended to replicate or infringe upon any copyright or intellectual property rights held by the NMC or other government bodies.
c. Users acknowledge that the questions provided in the App are sourced from public domain materials or used under fair use principles for educational and guidance purposes.
d. Revalidate does not claim ownership of the questions and materials obtained from NMC or other government bodies.
e. Users are encouraged to refer to the original sources and guidelines provided by NMC and other relevant authorities for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
f. Revalidate is not responsible for any changes in NMC or government guidelines that may occur after the incorporation of questions into the App. Users are advised to independently verify information and adhere to the latest guidelines provided by the relevant authorities.
14. Intellectual Property
a. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names used in the App are the property of their respective owners.
b. The design, layout, content, and graphics used in the App are protected by intellectual property laws and are the exclusive property of Revalidate.
c. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the content within the App without explicit permission from Revalidate.

b. Revalidate will make reasonable efforts to address user inquiries and support requests during business hours only.
